Dap-ayan ti Kultura iti Kordilyera, in partnership with the Cordillera Disaster Response and Development Services, Inc. (CorDis), have conducted a two-day cultural workshop with elementary school children in Barangay Can-eo, Bontoc, Mountain Province on June 21-22, 2014.
This is in line with CorDis’s program to propagate to the Cordillera youth the protection of our environment and efficient disaster risk management through cultural activities. The content of the workshop include singing salidummays, dancing Bontoc indigenous dances such as the pattong and the mambugi, and story-telling about the defense of our land and resources.
